About The Artist

As I grow older I find it increasingly difficult to communicate with words. I find everyone knows more than I do anyway, about everything. Maybe that is why I am happier with images? I have been advised that I should write something for viewers to read that may help them understand, if not the images, then myself, a little, at least. It’s taken me a year but I think I have found some words that now come close to that request. When I was a younger man I had a lucky foresight toward wisdom and wrote the following poem for my wife when a look says more than and a touch says other than a sigh less than a kiss greater than one knows much more than words can George Braque said –“ Art disturbs, Science appeases “ which could perhaps be expressed as Art questions, Science answers. e e cummings wrote the following poem when god decided to invent the world he took one breath bigger than a circustent and everything began when man decided to destroy the world he took the was of shall and finding only why smashed it into because I hope these images ask many questions, without finding a because and allows you also to know more than words can.
